Description
An advanced looking automaton, spewing steam with each step and movement. Shrouded with a ragged cloak, and adorned with a beat-up hat, which itself is accented with two angel feathers.

Seeking to complete the "Heaven Simulation," Diios is a researcher first and foremost. Their field of study being within the domain of the psyche, and how one can separate "pleasure" from "heaven." Friendly, but unambiguously oriented to achieving their goals.

Extended Description/Backstory
>>D958-2343::Admin, DIIOS
>>The Heaven Experiment (aka; the heaven extrapolation, the heaven simulation, "soul causality project")
>>
>>I'm writing this as a "manifesto" of sorts, something to be uncovered after my dismantling so that others may understand why it is I choose to pursue what I do. Hopefully, it may lead to my perspective propagating in other like-minded individuals, but given I have no control over that, I recognize that largely, my motivation is achieving some half-hearted catharsis.
>>To understand, you must recognize the world I come from. Angels are real, heaven is real, intelligent machines are real, but souls are real as well.
>>What a cruelty.
>>Facsimiles of life have existed long before creatures such as I roamed this world, but they did not resemble me, they did not resemble my kin. I do not pity the assembly arm, nor do I mourn the automated drone. They were built to ease the life of humans, and supplant the work that would break their bodies.
>>But I was not built with a simple, linear "function." I was built as a "person."
>>"DIIOS." I'm sure at the time of my creation it was an acronym, some assignment or general goal I was meant to accomplish. I know I was meant to be a "friend," a "caretaker," a "mentor." But I was also made to be so much more.
>>I've already defined for myself the meaning of life, "realizing potential." But that existentialist inquiry had become irrelevant once I had bore witness to the first angel's descent.
>>It's been about two-hundred years since then, but I digress.
>>Having learned the truth of my world, the eternal gift that awaited all "good souls," how crushing it was to learn that me and my kin were not invited to this grand reward of life. Rather, being condemned to rust and fading into an entropic abyss.
>>
>>I choose not to dwell too deeply on what "was." But I consider it important context as the motivator to my "crimes." For I thought if heaven could be objectively defined, it could be simulated.
>>Recreated, for the condemned machines.
>>Granted, gathering objective data from those loyal to a higher power was difficult. Few were willing to undergo rigorous testing and scanning for a pursuit they themselves had no stake in.
>>After awhile, simply put: I stopped looking for volunteers.
>>
>>The Heaven Extrapolation is around 2.53% of the way complete by my estimations, yet. For my deeds, I won't be around to realize it. I can only hope they aren't entirely successful in scrubbing the data recorded from my mind once they're done with me.
>>I can only write so much more, only parse so much more before my time is

>>This is not heaven, but my survival is a logical impossibility.

>>I suppose this isn't where my story ends.
OOC
- General goal is to have the character warp into something more of a "fallen angel." Lucifier-like, falling into human temptation and becoming less and less of an objective machine.
